Do want valve stem protectors?

It's been said that: "A problem well defined is half solved."

Working on it...

...and aparently this already made the PodCast?

Oh yeah, Polo guy from the shop down the street, these are yours

Let's tell this story backwards

Here's How to:
Make them yourself:

I had at least one old chopstick sitting that had at one point not been cleaned well enough

Gauging the depth of the part you have to file can be done with a spoke.

Use a round file to make the valve notch

Clamp in a vise for 35 minutes (I waited an hour) according to the instructions of the carpenter's/wood glue I was using.

3D-Printing just made more plastic things.
1 hour, 18 minutes, and 20 cents of printing cost was just too much.

The new version is reclaimed bamboo (**look into shipping and manufacturing).
No power tools were used during production, but the air conditioner has been running all day.
That's also not a hand carved vise.

I looked into these to see where the idea came from and if someone had claim to it.

I've caught that you can get these in 7075A-T6 Al (I giggled; someone confirmed).

Other 3D Printed versions were give-aways.

I drew some up and printed them... it took 1 hour, 18 minutes, and 20 cents to make more plastic.

Time for reclaimed Bamboo and Glue, and no power tools.

My Mom's critique:

Not everyone will have the fancy vises, or files or saw.

After 35minutes to an hour you have one.

Fine, but you have two wheels (at a time), and I can make these with a chopstick and a cinder block (and glue).

If anyone has claim to intellectual property on these, or if someone wil make them with enough consideration for you to but them, please do so.
